First Impressions

The Titleist Tour Speed golf wittiness is unconfined for players who are chasing increasingly loftiness off the tee whilst not losing the finger and keeping some control. This is the wittiness you play when you are just not quite ready yet to use a tour ball.

The Tour Speed has had a well-constructed make over which features the new 346 Quadrilateral Dipyramid Dimple Design, new core, new casing and cover. I was excited to see how it compared to the Pro V1x wittiness that I really like.

NCG Review

Out the box these balls finger great. As a 10 year user of Pro V1 and Pro V1x, I am unchangingly sceptical when Titleist bring out a wittiness that says tour on it, but that isn’t used on tour. This wittiness is supposed to requite tour like performance without having to waif the expense that now comes with a tour ball, so I’m all for it stuff great.

Our mega wittiness test at Woodhall Spa started virtually their fantastic short game area, hitting a variety of variegated length putts, fries and bunker shots. The wittiness felt unconfined from the putter squatter and not too dissimilar to what I expect from a Titleist.

The wittiness was reactive on fries and bunker shots, too, when struck well, which was a pleasant surprise as normally this is what you lose when moving yonder from the top-end ball. I moreover liked the structuring aid on the wittiness which helped me line my putts up better.

wedge data

The 50-yard pitch data I placid was not too bad, although not as much spin as I’d like to go out on the golf undertow with. This is an important shot when playing, and you need to be worldly-wise to get the wittiness to stop quickly, expressly in summer, and plane with a solid 8300rpm on one shot the stereotype is just a bit low.

iron data

Moving onto the 7 irons, I was unquestionably really pleased with the performance of the Titleist Tour Speed. The spin is nice and upper where I am well-appointed with it, and the siphon loftiness of 182 yards is solid. The wittiness sounds and feels unconfined from the 7 iron and one shot carried 191 yard which is bonkers.

driver data

The Titleist golf wittiness performed really well off my driver. I achieved a upper speed with 166mph wittiness speed and then the spin numbers were pretty good plane with not the most resulting wittiness striking. I think I’d be happy using this wittiness tee to untried out on the undertow as it’s a lot closer to the tour wittiness I’m used to than I thought it would be.

This is an spanking-new wittiness and will suit a lot of players. Alongside the Titleist Velocity, Tour Soft and TruFeel, it’s a unconfined wittiness offering an incredibly soft finger and distances that amateurs will love.
