36.8, I believe was the max handicap. For me to get an official HC, I need to play 3 competitions at my club which I haven’t done yet. It’s possible he scored higher than 36.8 over par but the score gets knocked down 36.8 over.
I think on the scorecards too, if you shoot 9 on a par 4, or 7 on a par 3, they always bring it down to double par.
That’s my understanding of it anyway.
