This happened to my friend after hitting his first shot in the water. The real kicker to the story is he was well in his 30’s at the time and his mom of all people said “nice par son”, lol. He’s never counted it, and personally like his story better than a true hole in one. Conversely this happened to his friend who hit one OB first, but he has a display case in his office of his “hole in 1”
